Be a member of SMPRP!

Make sure that you qualify!
Regular members are practicing medical physicists, persons certified by the Philippine Board of Medical Physics (PBMP), and those who participates actively in SMPRP activities. While associate members, are graduate students or trainees in medical physics and graduates of related fields who prove their interest in medical physics by actively participating in the activities of the Organization

Sign-up using the SMPRP Website!
Click the sign-up button in the SMPRP website and provide the necessary information. Endorsements and other required documents will also be uploaded as required. Provide the complete and correct information to avoid disapproval.

Get the necessary endorsement!
All applications for membership to the Organization, regardless of the class of membership, must be endorsed by at least two (2) SMPRP regular members and must be approved by the membership committee and majority of the Board of Trustees.

Evaluation and oath-taking
Allow the SMPRP membership committee ample time to evaluate your application. Pre-approved applications shall be forwarded to the Board of Trustees for ratification. New members will take oath during the next General Assembly. Please take note that new members have a one (1) year probationary period before regularization.

- Consideration for Assistance / Support from SMPRP
- Requirement in the completion of MedPhy Residency
- Requirement in Governmental authorizations
Associate Membership

- SMPRP nomination for events for Students
- Right to become members of SMPRP Organizational Committees
