This monthly event will highlight the latest advancements and research in Radiation Oncology, Diagnostic Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine Medical Physics.☢️🛡️
Our inaugural webinar will feature our very own rockstar researcher, Mr. John Paul O. Bustillo, presenting his latest published research on "Design, Construction, and Dosimetry of 3D Printed Heterogeneous Phantoms for Synchrotron Brain Cancer Radiation Therapy Quality Assurance."
Mr. John Paul O. Bustillo is an Assistant Professor of Physics & Medical Physicist at the University of the Philippines - Manila, and a PhD candidate at the University of Wollongong Australia- Center for Medical Radiation Physics. His research interests and expertise involve synchrotron imaging and radiotherapy, intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) quality assurance, phantom fabrication, additive manufacturing, monte carlo simulation, radiation dosimetry and protection, and bioprinting.
This event will be hosted by Ms. Merry Jaine T. Ortillo, health physicist III at Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital, and will be moderated by Mr. Elrick T. Inocencio, health physicist III at the Philippine General Hospital.
